Who is

Xochitl Gómez Cabrera?

I’ve always said it, I’m a chromatic circle, with my warm and cool colors, that’s my simple description.

Since I was a child, I saw my mom making many things for us, from toys and little bags to boxes and even skirts, all with her hands full of love.

Seeing so much beauty in the pieces and the well-made items, I started out of love for Design.

I decided to take a turn and explore what caught my attention: painting (Visual Arts). Exactly there, I met Professor Andrés in his paper recycling class.

He asked for bond paper, but I brought the leaves of the FICUS trees. He just looked at me and smiled. He was a teacher who believed in creative intuition and supported me.

Unknowingly, he and I were about to start a story called FICUS.

FICUS gained more strength when I said a prayer on the rooftop, asking GOD for guidance.

Thanks to everything and everyone, we are here, in a new stage and facing challenges to keep moving forward.
